Fenton History Center

The Fenton History Center is a museum operating within the family home of Reuben E. Fenton (1819-1885).

Fenton was a U.S. Congressman (1853-1864), New York State Governor (1864-1869) and U.S. Senator (1869-1875).

Built in 1863, the mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, this center is dedicated to preserving history at the local and national level. The museum also includes a research center, library, and archives in the adjacent Hall House property.
